The Center for Women and Families provides essential services to domestic violence and sexual assault victims in Louisville and southern Indiana, including Clark County and Floyd County:

CLARK COUNTY PROSECUTING ATTORNEY  VICTIM ASSISTANCE PROGRAM / DOMESTIC VIOLENCE UNIT

The Victim Assistance Program of the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney, established in 1990, provides the following services to crime victims: Help guide the victim through the criminal justice system when prosecution occurs. Accompany victims to court. Assist victims in filling out applications for Violent Crime Compensation. Notify victims of the status of their cases. Insure that victims can make their views known in decisions regarding bail, plea agreements, and sentencing. Refer victims to social service agencies when needed. Aggressively pursue restitution and assist with property return.

INDIANA COALITION AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, INC.

The Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence is a statewide alliance of domestic violence programs, support agencies and concerned individuals. We provide technical assistance, resources, information and training to those who serve victims of domestic violence; and promote social and systems change through public policy, public awareness and education.
