Operation Bag Of Hope

As we continue to pray about the direction that God want’s the ministry to go in he has laid it on our hearts once again to GO BIG …… We have decided to step up our standard snack bags into a much better survival kit for those who we serve and make contact with for the first time here is how it works.

Each Bag cost roughly $19-$20 to build & will be equipped with high protein food & water inside a reusable, water-resistant drawstring bag with many other much needed supplies.

The Bag of Hope provides each recipient with 3 meals for the day along with 1 day of snacks.

Breakfast will consist of Hot oatmeal a Breakfast bar and hot coffee (Heated by Sterno 1 hr)

Lunch will consist of Tuna or chicken salad kit, a fruit cup a protein bar and a bottle of flavored water

Dinner will be a can of Hot soup & 2 snacks  followed by Ramen noodles for a midnight snack along with the remaining snacks left over (Heated by remaining Sterno)

So not only will they get a meal for the day this kit also provides the recipient with a reusable stainless steel cup that can be used to heat up water or food later a Pair of fresh Socks, A Bible & a personal note to provide Encouragement,Love & Hope. Each bag will be made up Identical and will be handed out to our First time folks that we meet on the streets.

1 Tuna or Chicken Salad with Crackers Snack Kit 3.5 oz

1 Can Meaty soup (Pop Tab)

1 Ramen Noodle 2 Assorted Snacks

1 Box of raisins 1 utensil assorted pack

1 2 hr Sterno

1  Match Kit

1 18 Oz Stainless cup

1 Flashlight
