As cooler temperatures set in, the demand for warmer gear rises, prompting a call for help in October. We are currently out of stock of essential items, including tents, snacks for snack bags, socks, deodorant, and baby wipes. These items play a crucial role in supporting those in need as the weather changes. To assist us in replenishing our supplies, please visit our donation page at https://linktr.ee/exit0 for more ways to contribute and help the community.

It has been a bustling week and a half at Exit 0 as we prepare for the cooler temperatures ahead. Our team has worked hard to provide essential services such as showers and laundry for those in need. This week alone, we were able to offer 25 showers and complete 10 loads of laundry. These services are vital as the weather begins to change, and we strive to ensure that everyone has access to basic hygiene facilities as the colder months approach.

As we transition into our fall schedule, we want to remind everyone that after today, showers and laundry services will only be available on Wednesdays from 1 PM to 7 PM. This change will run until the end of the year. We understand this may be an adjustment for some, but we hope to continue providing as much support as possible during this limited timeframe. It is our goal to make sure that no one is left without access to these essential services during the colder season.

We would also like to send a special thank-you to Domino's and Chick-fil-A in Jeffersonville for their generous food donations last week. Having these meals available for our unhoused friends is always a special treat that brings joy and comfort. Additionally, our heartfelt appreciation goes out to all the volunteers and supporters who dedicate their time and effort to help us serve the community. Their endless commitment allows us to keep the doors open and provide necessary assistance to those who need it most.

We want to take a moment to express our gratitude to Dale Popp Jeffersonville Township Trustee, for his unwavering support of the community, especially for the least of these in Clark County. Dale and his team work tirelessly to provide resources to those in need. Their efforts help individuals and families navigate difficult situations, whether it’s getting back home to other states or obtaining important documents like birth certificates. Dale's dedication shines through in every project he undertakes, making a real difference in people's lives and in the community.

Dale Popp’s commitment to the community goes beyond just his role as a trustee. His team provides vital assistance to low-income families, ensuring they have access to essential resources. This support ranges from food programs to housing assistance, helping to ease the burden for many who struggle to make ends meet. Dale understands the challenges facing his community and actively works to connect residents with the services they need. His compassion and leadership inspire others to get involved and give back as well.

We are incredibly thankful for the work that Dale Popp and his team do for Jeffersonville and Clark County. Their dedication to serving the community is evident in every initiative they take on. By helping individuals find their way home, obtain important documents, and access crucial resources, they show that they truly care about the well-being of others. Thank you, Dale Popp and your team, for your kindness and hard work. You are making a lasting impact and making our community a better place for all.
