📢 COMMUNITY PSA: NaloxBox Temporary Closure

We want to let our community know that Project Recovery’s NaloxBox located at Edwardsville United Methodist Church has been temporarily removed due to needed repairs.

We are currently working with Overdose Lifeline,Inc to resolve the issue and get the NaloxBox repaired and returned as soon as possible.

In the meantime, thanks to Overdose Lifeline and Indiana DMHA, nasal naloxone (Narcan) and testing strips remain available at our other Project Recovery NaloxBox locations. Please visit one of our other locations if you need supplies.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we work to restore this important community resource.

💜 Naloxone saves lives. Access matters.

We will share an update once the Edwardsville UMC NaloxBox is back in service.

It has truly been a very busy week at Exit 0. We want to extend a huge thank you to Sellersburg UMC, Diana, and all the devoted volunteers who prepared and served wonderful meals on Sunday. Their efforts nourished not only the body but also the spirit of those we serve. On Monday and Wednesday, the heat pushed us to provide over 30 showers and 11 loads of laundry. This commitment highlights the importance of keeping our community comfortable and clean, particularly during the extreme weather.

Throughout the week, we welcomed several new faces who found themselves on the streets due to being displaced from other sober living programs and shelters. With these new arrivals, we worked hard to provide many supplies for outdoor shelter, ensuring they have their basic needs met. Each person who comes to Exit 0 has their own story, and it's vital that we create a welcoming environment where they feel safe and supported. Our commitment to assisting them in their time of need continues to grow as the demands from the community increase.

In bright news this week, we are excited to congratulate two of our unhoused individuals who have taken significant steps toward recovery by entering treatment programs. One of them has already been in treatment for seven weeks, showing great dedication. We are especially grateful to the Path Program for their consistent support, offering case management for mental health needs. Many individuals still struggle to find resources in Floyd and Clark County, making our partnerships crucial. To everyone who volunteers and contributes to our cause, thank you for helping us support the unhoused. To get involved or donate, please visit us at www.jcexit0.org.
